Detachment is a standard modified fin keel with skeg hung rudder
model in which Jerry and Astrid have been cruising Mexican
waters for the
past five years. They summer in San Diego when it gets too hot. (July-Sept).

Engine:
50HP Perkins diesel completely recently rebuilt (<100hrs),
rebuilt transmission.
- Replaced main fuel tank with new aluminum tank
- Converted
stbd 50 gal water tank to aux diesel fuel tank using all bronze
fittings.

Electrical:
800 AH battery bank (6 golf cart batteries below the floor under
the
main salon table), 2 solar panels, wind generator, 2500W inverter,
rewired and new circuit breakers. Between the solar panels and
wind
generator they have lasted up to three weeks without running the
engine to recharge their batteries.

New cushions with added foam & leather like coverings.
- Cabin sole stripped
and covered with old growth solid 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" teak and 3/8" Mexican
