Completed Installation

   

Prevents Diesel from splashing out the top of the deck pipe when filling. Works extremely well. Tiny splash at full rate- but at two clicks- pump shut off automatically, no fuel spilled at all.

Complete Engine Rebuild Nov 2004:
Aft Head shower access panelNew cylinder liners, pistons, rings, connecting rods, bearings, new valves, springs, hoses, water pump, etc.

Complete engine room overhaul:
New Sounddown insulation (made wooden box around galley drawers under companionway & mounted insulation around it), rewired/rerouted all electronics. Replumbed hot water heater, new base for heater, new PEX plumbing for easy heater draining & by-pass, improvements to battery holder (nuts & washers top and bottom of battery trays). Added cheap temperature gauge to monitor engine room temps.
