Vessel Details
Sea Sense was joyously found by Patti Lanphear in January 2002. She really agrees with the rest of us owners that this is one incredibly well thought out vessel.
Here's a brief history of Sea Sense from Patti.

Modifications:
Shelf above the v-berth
to store an inflatable dinghy.
Folding door for the forward cabin has been removed to create more room.
Shower in the forward head has been disconnected.
Sea Frost refrigeration (engine drive or shore power) .
Icebox has an interesting hinged opening.
compressor is located on the port side of the engine.
Custom Bookcase
on bulkhead in Salon.
In the passageway to the aft cabin on the wall above the door to the engine room is a piece of plexiglas behind which are located
drawings of emergency equipment and locations of all thru- hulls
.
The
shower curtain
was replaced with the addition of a standard shower rod to replace the original.
Flexible waste tanks were replaced with one 30 gal rigid tank tucked away into an area under the companionway ladder and batteries.
On Deck: Roller furling was added to the jib.
Bimini over the cockpit,
remote mic for the VHF
has been located next to the engine controls.
